Maximilian Weber is a Counsel in the firm’s Digital Asset & Crypto Fraud group. He previously led investigations for a European cryptocurrency exchange, where he built the tracing playbook for hacks, rug pulls and wallet thefts.

Maximilian reads on-chain flows across Bitcoin, Ethereum and alt-chain ecosystems, and coordinates freezing actions with exchanges and EU authorities. He has identified and recovered digital assets in more than a dozen matters.

He is admitted as a Rechtsanwalt in Germany and studied at Humboldt University of Berlin.
